With a long-standing reputation for producing high-quality youth theater in the South King County area, the Hi-Liners have a storied history that dates back to 1966. Originating as a summer program, the organization has since evolved into a year-round, district-wide performing group, entertaining audiences across the Northwest with a wide range of variety shows. In the early 1990s, the Hi-Liners were called upon to serve the community once again, collaborating with the newly opened Highline Performing Arts Center to present a series of popular reunion shows. In 1994, the organization made the pivotal decision to focus on presenting one MainStage production each fall, further solidifying its commitment to providing young performers with exceptional theatrical experiences.
